blossom tree in Bloom - Inspired by a National Geographic
photograph this bag was hand painted and machine appliqued.
Background is a piece of upholstery fabric that was painted
in acrylics and sealed with a professional artist grade
satin varnish to protect artwork. The branches of the tree
are made with high quality brown vinyl with light yellow
thread accents. The bird is made with a bright orange microfiber
and is machine appliqued in gold metallic thread. Reverse
of bag is made with high grade brown upholstery vinyl.
Each petal was cut by hand and machine stitched individually.
Thread painting was applied to the insides of the flowers
in metallic gold and light yellow thread.
Hand beading was added in the flower centers for sparkle.
Great bag for laptop, books or everyday.
Large enough to hold extra clothes.
